I recognise this shot. Very nice mood. I'm a bit surprised at how soft the OOF areas are; lovely smooth blurring. It looks as if Superia 200 is good at handling mixed lighting as the result is very natural. But shouldn't that speed be 1/15th not 15 seconds?

Yes Roger, 1/15, I corrected it ! The OOF deatails of the 25 are really good indeed,I never before saw them so clearly. It's all electric light there and so Superia 200 makes my wife look like sunburn. I could not get out the red without damnaging the colours in another way.
The interior of this restaurant is over 100yo and still untouched. Some of the garcons look the same ! :-))

very good: the expression captured, and that almost classic background. if only the arms hadn't been cut off-- but perhaps that's just an unnecessary convention.

I admit, I'd prefer the arms uncut too, I'd say concerning the rules this is at the limit.
Nobody is perfect, next time better work, chef !

I love the expression on Ilse's face, A look of resigned patience, You are a lucky man!!

Looking at this again, I thought it might be worthwhile seeing what the Power Retouche "white balance" plug-in could do. You can set this to normalize highlights, mid-tones, or a general colour cast. I think it makes the skin colour look more natural without affecting the background colours much. I apply this (one of three options) almost without thinking these days, as I find the results consistently good.
