About This is the 'house' next door to the 'B&B' we stayed in!! It was the old Cromdale station and was virtually in ruins when the present owner bought it and started renovating it. It's now looking more-or-less as it was in its prime, except now it's family home!! The grassy bit in front of it is part of the Strathspey Way ~ an 84 mile long public footpath!!

This particular evening, the light was brilliant ~ and it didn't really get dark until around midnight!!

Best regards to all, Chris

Hi Chris, Beautiful lighting, and I love the clutter of signs and tones in this shot. It catches the eye, making the bridge in the composition a bit redundant, IMO. As usual, ver solid bit of postprocessing....

Cheers,

hugo

It seems to go from light at the front to dark. Beautiful presentation of a beautiful house.

Wonderful shot, Chris. I like the light on the building and the dark, moody sky behind it. You always find really interesting subjects to photograph. Best regards and thanks for your recent comments, Larry.

HI Chris,

Yes, really sweet light! Couldn't have been better, and awesome sky as well.

Nice perspective here, and I enjoy seeing this structure, lots to look at.

Very interesting,
Good job,
Have a GR8 day/evening,

Gorgeous light and a great angle, Chris. Sounds (and looks!) like a great place to stay.

Need to get me one of them places someday Chris. I'd be in my element. I'd have to lay some track and build myself a steam loco to stand outside.
This image brings back such fond memories of my youth. Love the saturation and that sky is awesome.
Well done.
Den
