Melisa Meyers   {K:9532} 7/11/2005
wonderful portrait Mark. I like the aged color tone you used that highlights the wisdom of age she has. I do have to say she has the same look my daughter gets when she gets tired of me taking her picture. =)

Colin Cartwright   {K:15699} 7/13/2005
Thanks for your words about "me ma", Marky. My granma had alzheimers, so I can empathize. But your ma's still in there, even on the bad days.
She looks a character.

You're really good at the portrait stuff, maybe even better than the landscape. A seven.

Happy birthday for tomorrow, marra. But don't bang your bonce too much - at your age!

My 40th, involved me spraining my ankle, BEFORE I went out. I spent it in the Gateshead QE hospital!

Colin

Two wonderful portraits of your mother, Mark, on on color, one in sepia. Both done with love and both showing a deep-thinking elderly fine woman.
Thank you for your very generous comment on my "Since 1492" and its "about."
Best regards,
Rafi
