I think I would have cropped the shot so that one of the upper leaf edges goes out the corner.

Very nice macro, Melanie. Good details and colours. Nice and close.
Perhaps you could experiment with different compositions also, not so much a fully-centered one. Havnig said that, the straight symmetric approach works well here.
