About Taking a rest from my usual portraits, street photography and macros... :0)

This is the "Hindou" villa of Baron Edouard Empain in Heliopolis on the airport road.

It was designed by the French architect Alexandre Marcel (1860-1928), decorated by Georges-Louis Claude (1879-1963) and was completed in 1911.

Camera settings: 1/500 sec - f/3.5 - ISO 200 - FL 28mm + Linear Polarizer Cokin filter.

great, thanks for the info, though this has been designed by French artits, this awesome architecture is very much indendtical in many parts with Hindu temples in India! The upper portion is identical with Lord Jagannath Temple in Puri, Orissa!! It is a very nice and fine architectural record! Thanks for sharing, best regards, Bikas
