About In Fort Louisbourg in the 18th century, could this scene have taken place? Why not? The fort is accurately reconstructed and the characters in period roles populate the historic site. The man in the red uniform is a British Officer, held captive in a French fort. As a courtesy, captive British Officers were allowed to roam free in the fort as, frankly, there was no place to run.

Mohamed,

This particular place invoked strong feelings when I was there, twice in one week. I tried to capture as many pictures as possible with just the period players and no tourists.

Interestingly captured historical scene. It looks like you were at a guard station to get this angle. The contrasting colours and textures are quite appealing.

Mary,

The road I'm looking down is on a hill, that's what gives the perspective. Glad you like it.

I really like the strong lines and colors in this one Todd! It captures the mood of an ancient time well.

My only suggestion would be a tiny amount of rotating.

Pierre,

This one I agree. It needs a tiny bit of rotating. I think my head is on a slant because most of my pictures turn out like this. ;^)
