I'm noticing her hand only because you said. ;-) I really liked this as soon as i saw it in thumbnail. I like the composition. SO COOL!

Amanda Keeys   {K:9349} 7/14/2005
It is a shame about the hand. Your perspective and tones on this ROCK though Trish. Great textures too.

Kristin Upcroft   {K:1969} 7/14/2005
Trish, don't panic - my eyes were drawn to where she is looking and the white plank. Great all the same. Krick

Sofia Alves   {K:1343} 7/14/2005
Great photo.

Lynne Stacey   {K:649} 7/14/2005
Don't you hate that when you know you have a great shot and then, oops. I still really like this, love the contrast and her hat is adorable!

Cheryl Ogle   {K:24494} 7/14/2005
I love this - and yes it was cut, but it gives an honest impression to an unposed shot. I have been messing with crops a lot and really have been having fun cutting people off. :) This makes you really feel part of the photo instead of a viewer. Great angle and use of B&W. Well done!

Mirela Bratu   {K:1272} 7/14/2005
so good!!

Judy Bodden   {K:1694} 7/14/2005
Great angle Trish. You've done a fine job. I don't really notice the hand being cut off. That's ok though, I'm sure this was not meant to be a perfectly composed picture. Who likes those kinds of pictures anyways....this is a very spontaneous capture. I love it!

Gertrud Gozner   {K:14222} 7/14/2005
interesting perspective and composition! G.

I recognized this lovely photo as yours while still a thumnail, dear Trish.
Thank you for your kind comment on my "Multicolored key chains."
Best regards,
Rafi

Excelente perspectiva...uno hace equilibrio junto con la niņa.
Gran toma!

well other than the hand as you mention, the rest of the shot is very unique and great b and w tones. I like the perspective and the creative way you have shown this

Zeev Scharf   {K:24824} 7/15/2005
Hi Trish ,in spite of the little cut-off of the hand,it is an excellent shot, very nicely composed
Bravo my friend
Many thanks for nice words on "Flying around"
Best regards

FANTASTIC! I love the angle and creativity Trish. Very nice!

Eric Peterson   {K:4210} 7/15/2005
The hand is unfortunate, but you've still captured a great childhood portrait here that anyone can relate to. Who hasn't, at one point, walked balancing along a parking curb? Very effective angle and the B&W lends a timeless air.
Eric

Ciana Worme   {K:6771} 7/16/2005
It was one of those hit or miss shots. You still managed to compose a truly remarkable composition.

Michael Grace-Martin   {K:10283} 7/18/2005
I don't think the hand is a big deal. I really like the perspective and composition..:)

nicole miller   {K:865} 8/29/2005
Great shot Trish! It looks like she could be on the edge of a skyscraper with that angle, very dynamic. You obviosly have a great repoire with children (I think the only subject harder to shoot is pets). And I don't mind the hand at all...

Mohamed Banna   {K:34222} 8/29/2005
great balance :)
from you and her
