I'm noticing her hand only because you said. ;-) I really liked this as soon as i saw it in thumbnail. I like the composition. SO COOL!

It is a shame about the hand. Your perspective and tones on this ROCK though Trish. Great textures too.

Trish, don't panic - my eyes were drawn to where she is looking and the white plank. Great all the same. Krick

Don't you hate that when you know you have a great shot and then, oops. I still really like this, love the contrast and her hat is adorable!

I love this - and yes it was cut, but it gives an honest impression to an unposed shot. I have been messing with crops a lot and really have been having fun cutting people off. :) This makes you really feel part of the photo instead of a viewer. Great angle and use of B&W. Well done!

Great angle Trish. You've done a fine job. I don't really notice the hand being cut off. That's ok though, I'm sure this was not meant to be a perfectly composed picture. Who likes those kinds of pictures anyways....this is a very spontaneous capture. I love it!

well other than the hand as you mention, the rest of the shot is very unique and great b and w tones. I like the perspective and the creative way you have shown this

The hand is unfortunate, but you've still captured a great childhood portrait here that anyone can relate to. Who hasn't, at one point, walked balancing along a parking curb? Very effective angle and the B&W lends a timeless air. Eric

Great shot Trish! It looks like she could be on the edge of a skyscraper with that angle, very dynamic. You obviosly have a great repoire with children (I think the only subject harder to shoot is pets). And I don't mind the hand at all...
