About This is the scene from the roadside as you look over the rapidly emptying Gouthwaite reservoir in Nidderdale, north yorks.

I've used the river to the bottom right as the centre of interest and a leading line - what a responsibility for the poor thing. Also passed the whole thing through a "Velvia" photoshop action - really does bring out the colours, especially the foreground reds.

everyone should have a cokin P system!

well just those with cameras really :-)

I've a mission to convert all the UK Usefilmers to using grads on their skies - harder than you'd think though. Just me and Alastair Bell at the mo, but I'll keep working on the rest!

cheers for the comment

yeah - they pick out certain colours really well. I usually up the colour temp and saturation in the RAW editor then play with Velvia :-)

hardly scratched the surface of the rest of them though. those DSLR Fractle sharpeners take forever!
