About Hiking down from Ice Lake - a really steep hike that was horrible since we were not acclimated to Colorado.

Used the wide angle lens as the setting sun threw my shadow across the trail.

Trying to use the shadow as a Silouette.

Judy:

I was pretty tapped after driving from KS to CO, then trying to ascend from 10K' to 12K' over several miles. Nearly broke me with the camera equipment. The walk down was easier, but you can see my energy was fading fast.

Hi Michel, Wht makes this image isthat your shadow is "flanked" by the softer shady parts cast by the trees behind you. This introduces a very creative use of depth. Love the high level of details, as well as the slight angle in your reflection. Good job, very interesting shot.

Cheers,

Hugo

The new wide lens gives a nice recession in space - check out how long my legs appear!
