I really love this photo!! Love the ball in the background just a touch of geometric interest Love that one girl is still while another is moving and blurry Great eye/soul connection with the non moving girl Both subjects fit perfectly in the rule of thirds. That the pool frames them It seems dark, moody first because of the girl's expression and also the dark shadows behind the pool they seem to be a complete opposite to theme of the photo summer/fun. I think it makes the photo seem a bit mysterious were it wouldn't other wise be as interesting. Congrats on the award it's well deserved!
