The IR tones make the plam fronds look so feathery. Good use of light to emphasize texture, and as usual, great composition.

I agree with Mary Sue that these do look like feathers. Love the "compo" as well makes a wonderful abstract.

Yup, this works well, I like the fronds leading in as they do, and the effect is that of ostrich feathers, this has a wonderful contrast, striking, it's

Great image and best of all it finally cleared up something I have been trying to do. Did not occur to me to try infrared to get that beautiful silver effect that you have here. I can't rate this photo but you get an all around excellent rating anyway. Simple and effective.
