Wow!
What a simple and beautiful image. I think that is a composition made with Photoshop and lot of immagination and inteligence. The dark blue gives cold and nostalgie, the light puts our attention on the figures, the umbrella and the coats, the ground, everything is so sad... adn beautiful

Hi Mitchell, another very strong image. Romantic, yet very grim. Without the moon and the gull, it would've absolutely screamed with tension and suspence. It reminds me of scene from a 2nd world war movie. Very powerful. Good PS job, the tones is are beautiful.

As in much of the Impressionist painters' work, this piece fairly screams with symbolic interpretation possibilities. I know that one of the lovely things about art is that we all get to create our own stories. I see the long years of love and I see the inevitable fate of death in this picture, especially with the bird and the protective umbrella.
