About Another photo taken on Quaggaskop. This time showing a slope of siltstone with various colours and partly covered by a layer of milky quartz pebbles(see the previous uploads for more info). Taken with a polarizer filter. Brightness and contrast slightly adjusted in PS. Natural colours. This is a place with many surprising contrasts and textures and a place where you get time to be still and know.

Hi Joggie, Outstanding combination of colours; the minerals such as copper, iron and such do come out perfectly with a polarizer filter. I really like the division between the different layers of segragation. Great shot.

Cheers,

Hugo

Seems like an absolutely wonderful location, Joggie. I find it interesting how the sky came out really dark. I guess the polariser affected it much more than it affected the bright rocks.

The combination of natural colours is awesome!

Seems like an excellent place to take photos, Joggie. Great colours and textures. Even the clouds were playing up to the camera on that day. A nice composition with subtle diagonals and great colours. Well done.
