George Black   {K:101993} 7/16/2005
Very good shot, full of action and interest. When you realize the skater is airborne, it is even more dazzling.

Best regards,
--George

I love the seemingly bodyless shadow, and the way the other skater guy appears to be looking at it.
I think the strong geometrical patterns add to it too.

As we have already met on these pages, I would like to suggest that we switch to first names officially. I, as you know, am Rafi and unless you object I'll refer to you henceforth as John.
I very much like the play of shadows in this photo, diplaying the children on their skateboards in more than one dimension.
Thank you for your very generous comment on my "Supecarts." Unfortunately I took that photo on a camera on which I could not control apperture and shutter speed, but you gave me an idea as to how to do it next time with another camera. I look forward to seeing your photo of the same subject.
Best regards,
Rafi

Rafi, many thanks for visiting once again. Yes, of course address me as John - I am one of the least formal people. I will continue to sign off as AJ because that is my UF signature (for others reading this, the explanation is elsewhere, several times!)

This photo was taken from the top of a bell tower on Old Town square, so I was pushing the limits of the A2. I am therefore flattered at the positive response the image has received.

I will be rather quiet for the next few days as I am about to set off on the lond drive back to my "other" home in Tarifa.

All the best, AJ

This one is nice too but I like the other one with the guy on the bike more...
Very creative series my friend,
Khaled.

Another excellent abstract composition, John. Great play of light and shadows here. Well done, my friend!

Hi John,

great pile of shadows and geometry fragments. I always love such views from above. the persons seem to look like small puppets.

best wishes,
Thilo

Amazing frame, great really the way you include here the two persons and stairs and the one catched at the air...plus the amazing shadow of him, excellent composition ...right at the best time!
Perfect!
