From the thumbnail, I thought this was the skin on someones neck - so it was quite a shock to see the full picture!
But a pleasant shock - what a neat idea! I like the nice range of tones you've got in the b&w, I like that it is nice and sharp, I like your choice of frame and I like your use of selective colouring. I think possibly if you took a very small blur brush at about 50% opacity and just ran it around the bit where the green drop meets the b&w leaf it would add to the effect - very nice!
