Ho sempre un poco di pudore in queste situazioni. La scelta della focale lunga è stata dettata non tanto dal fatto di volermi "nascondere"...mi hanno visto...fra me e loro non c'era nulla che potesse mimetizzarmi. Ho scelto la focale lunga per schiacciare la prospettiva: l'albero è meno vicino di quanto sembri...nota le ombre lunghe dello sfondo, sono le 19. Ho provato a scattare più da vicino ma non mi convinceva il risultato.
Ho fatto questa foto perchè il silenzio e l'immobilità di queste due persone sedute davanti ad un belvedere dei Castelli romani, mi ha colpito alpari della loro ombra proiettata sulla corteccia scabra dell'albero.
Non è una foto di rapina... ho avuto tutto il tempo di pensarla e costruirla... i soggetti, davvero, non avevano pensieri per me!
I'm always a little bit ashamed in these situation: the choice of the long focal lenght wasn't due to my desire of being invsible ... they saw me ... between me and them there was nothing which could hide me. I've chosen the long focal lenght to crash the perspective: the tree seems closer than it really is ... pay attention to the long shadow. It is 7.00 pm. I've tried to shoot closer, but I wasn't convinced. I capture this photo because of the silence and the stillness of these two people, seated on a "belvedere" of Castelli Romani (a volcanic region near Rome), which struck me as well as their shadow, projected on the rough bark of the tree. That's not a stolen photo ... I had all the time needed to think about it and mentally build it ... for sure, the two subjects haven't any thoughts for me!

Condivido la tua scelta, il tele ti permette di scattare a distanza, ma credo che il vantaggio nel suo uso sia di poter isolare i soggetti dal contesto, come in questa situazione molto intima. Molto ben pensata, composta ed intitolata.
Grazie per il tuo bellissimo commento, so che scrivi solo quando un'immagine ti ispira e sono contento che ti sia soffermato a guardarla.

Excellent shot, great b/w dof -perfect. The pics has a mood, that couple looks tired or from life or something happened. Unfortunately, i don't know italian and cannot read your comment. They are looks sad, no energy , no point to live, just shadow.

Lodovico, thank you very much for translation. I'm hear you, what are you talking about. I do have the same thought, when i'm taking photo's. But last time the sense, smell of hunting (getting emontional shots) -winning and all of the doubts are disappear. You got great shot!
