Very nice silhouette of the buildings in the distance. I really like the shining light in the water too, great shot!

A complete departure from your usual work Petal! No colour!!! No flowers!!! But it does have excellent reflections of the sun on the water! I also think you've done well to retian the detail on the buildings too... so easy to lose the buildings in shadow when shooting contre-jour.

If I have a nit-nit all its only that there seems to be a small amount of noise in the buildings too (not unusual when there aare shadows like this).

I think you have done an incredible job of keeping lens flare away though! And the overall balance of the image is superb!

Superb. That one word fits best. The way you still managed to capture the details in the buildings is awesome. Straight out of the camera? Or did you apply some PS masking techniques? Very well captured!

Cheers,

Hugo

Thanks for commenting.... and yes... straight out of the camera, just framing and uploading... ;-D!!! One of my 'goals in life' is learning how to use PS.... I read about how someone used brush tool this and mask that but I really don't have a clue/know what they're talking about/how they did it....!!! Maybe my pics would look even better with somekind of effect but for the moment a frame and a crop and very seldom a level tweak will have to do.... ;-D!!!!
