Hi thanks Chris. It is kind of tough to get into the rotation of freelance photographers that work for Newport Life. I'm lucky because I work for them as a graphic designer...so I'm right there to show them my photos when they need them for certain articles.
They have a core of about 5 to 7 freelance photographers that do the majority of their work. Each kind of has their niche...some do sailing, some do food, some fashion, I do alot of landscapes and nature, so you would need to present them w/ something different that they don't already have covered.

Very good lighting here, chris. It has got an amazing blue glow over the rocks. Some beautiful colors and tones. The sky also looks great. The reflections on the water are very nice.
