About Steve Bowden up a tree....he's a big kid really.... !

I think yuo'll ahve all seen a few shots of him up the tree over a wier on the Nidd at Patley Bridge.

this one's his sucessful (Darn) dismount from said tree!

all the jokes and jibes probably explaing the huge grin.

Had the new flash on for this shot too.

Virtually no PS work - just lightened his face and sharpened the eyes a bit

Best regards, Chris

Haha... we were all waiting for the splash there weren't we Ade!!!

Looks very natural with the fill flash - almost unnoticable at all in terms of it being obvious!

Nicely exposed - impressive bit of kit!

*LOL*

Hilarious, who is that handsome chap ;-)

I am so pleased that I did not fall in or fall out of the tree. With all the cameras around I am convinced it would have hit national press !!!

Excellent capture, I had forgotten about this one.

Steve

That's cool Ade. With his hat that way round he looks like an intrepid jungle explorer. Magnificently sharp shot. The flash did the trick.

definitely my best portrait of the day - got some good ones later on at th barby too, but the expression and the diagonal cmoposition on this really work.

think it goes into the "nice" category, so WW3 can wait another day :-)

oh - here's a lightening shot from our mega-photo-night. I'm still working on shots from that night - about 30 framed and ready for sale shots!!!

Stephen Bowden   {K:64540} 7/20/2005
No - I won't start WW3 - you're a fellow Lancastrian ;-)

Alastair however is "squatting" in Lancashire and may be considered fair game

No, I shall behave !

Went out tonight intending to shoot sailing boats but with my 140mm max it was impossible !

Hehehe, no chance of avoiding this one. He's caught! Nice shot. Probably a "once-in-a-lifetime". This is the first time I've seen your portfolio, Ade. I love the story, here. I'm adding you as a friend, so I can find you again. Keep up the good work; I enjoy looking .
Best Regards,
---Duane---

Ade I can't believe I missed this one , just fabulous. Have you and Alastair cooked up something special for Steve's Birthday today. I added another two versions of mine - as Keith Saint wanted 'brown hair' choice LOL
