Wonderful combination of lines Chris. The handrail guides the eye into the shot beautifully and the lampost stops it from wandering any further left, leaving the eye to savour thoes lovely little cottages.
There is something magical about some places - coastal towns in Scotland, Ireland or Cornwall all have a certain something that is just so appealing.
Beautiful shot! Nice to meet Mrs S at last too!

This brings back memories of Kodachrome 25ASA 40 years ago. You've captured the look just about perfectly. Pity you can't project this three feet wide on a bright, white screen! It would look gorgeous.
