Elizabeth,

This is really going to show me up. I just uploaded an attempt at a mesh like this one, but yours is so much more accomplished!

Perhaps you can give me some hints on how to progress. This work is really beautiful.

A very well done piece of photo art here! A good photo to start with always helps and you appear to have had that. I like the clarity of the eye. That is a grabber for sure. Good work here.

Thanks Everybody...
I'm glad you all liked it.
Sometimes I like something a little
different..I'm glad when others appreciate
some of my quirky styles.
Angelo, your mesh piece is quite nice.
More abstract than mine.
Regards, Elizabeth

Elizabeth,

Thanks for looking at my picture.

Can you tell some more about how you achieved your results? Did you use a Photoshop action, add-in or filter, or was it done manually? (That's how I did mine, with layers)

I'm really keen to learn.

Thanks again for looking and for sharing.

Hi Angelo;
Sorry it took me a while to get back to you.
This is done with a filter in Paint Shop Pro 9 called basket weave. You can change the color of the strips, make larger gaps, add a texture to the strips and many other combo's...you did it the hard way! ;>) now try the easy way..
Regards, Elizabeth
