Very nice pose. Great portrait! Well done.

Great DOF and a nice pose that showcases her hair, but the upper half of the photo is conflicts with the hair a little and her eyes could use a little more light. The expression is the model's responsibility. . .

Thanks Mike. I've recropped. Do you think this is better?

I think the cropping is fine in both shots. . .I critique my own portraits the same way. When the background permits a delineation of the subject's head/face I step back and say "that's good." When it disappears in or conflicts with the background I smirk. . .she seems to be a very pretty girl. Her "blue eyes" as you describe in her other portrait do not appear blue (perhaps it's my monitor) but perhaps it's the lighting. . .

Great shot Dale Ann, and i gotta say the crop is just fabulous, really draws your attention to her face. :)

DA,

Thanks for stopping by and commenting on my image. Your work is inspiring, add to the fact that you've turned this into a successful biz.

On the crop...it is fine as originallly presented but the crop attempt (IMHO) is too tight on the top, and should be tighter on the right.

Still, nice work :-)
