Very nice...White foreground adds a lot of punch to it. I am not sure about the mixing of colors along the edges of those clouds. It looks a bit distracting. Good capture. :)

Looks like the puffy white clouds are compeating with the fluffy appearing trees. And both reflecting in the water.

Like a wintry scene with the trees blanketed in snow..making a picture perfect postcard...I really like it a lot..I'm not that familiar with this technique, is this the work of a filter? An infrared filter I'm assuming..I love the composition with the water leading the eye down the river, and those clouds are wonderful, bringing the eye back into and around the water...it looks like a weeping willow tree on the left and the effects make it appear as if there are icicles hanging down. Very nicely done Peter..:):)Linda

Prachtige foto. Zeer sterke compositie maar vooral de tinten zijn betoverend mooi, het witte van de IR opname en daartussen het mooie blauw van de lucht. Goed gezien en excellent uitgevoerd. (ook bedankt voor uw vriendelijk commentaar op mijn foto.)

Just popping through some of your IR work in your portfolio - this one seems unique because of the spot treatment of color.
I don't know how you managed to pull of a 1/30 second shot - my IR filter is about 13 stops, so I am always looking at about 15 seconds...

Looks like hoar frost photos, with icicycles hanging from the tree branches. The willows really work well giving that effect. Beautiful

This is an excellent infrared shot. I just started shooting IR and must admit I'm envious of your bright whites and deep blues. I've done numerous tests but none this well. This certainly is worth working at. thanks for sharing. patrick
