Excellent capture! Who said that it was difficult to handle the red colours with a digital camera??? You gave a nice example for the opposite... Congrats! Best regards, Laci

much better than any coffee and it probably sounds as good as it looks. Which make of car ?

Mark Longo   {K:12757} 8/16/2005
Mark, I'm slightly ashamed to say I'm not sure exactly which car this was, though I believe it was a Bugati. This shot (aong with the Benz in my portfolio) was taken at a Museum exhibit of Ralph Lauren's car collection.

Nice colors and reflections. Good composition. I might try a crop, just thinking. Regards.

Mark Longo   {K:12757} 8/24/2005
Very nice crop, Alper. I like this very much. Looking at the initial crop I did I had the feeling that the empty space on the right side of the image would help create a sense of perspective. On seeing your crop, I realize that I was mistaken. Your crop retains plenty of perspective, yet increases the interest of the subject and greatly improves the sense of balance! Great eye!

Thank you very much for this suggestion, I have learned something!

Very best regards,
Mark

nice composition. you did quite well in spite of the indoor lighting - VERY difficult to cope with. I prefer the outdoor lighting myself but I usually have to deal with reflections of people in my images.

Mark Longo   {K:12757} 10/12/2005
To tried to deal with the indoor lighting I shot this at ISO 1600 on the Cannon Digital Rebel XT using the kit lense. Considernig what a plastic piece-o-junk that lens appears to be, I've gotten some decent results with it. All the car shots I have on this site so far were done with that kit lens.
