About The Black Canyon of the Gunnison, my third view of this national park. Late afternoon, deep shadows. Same view as #2, but with different lighting. Enjoy.

Excellent work, you said on one of your other posts that you do selective editng in the quick mask mode. How do you do that?

just a super shot! looks like you got many great images from your trip....or are you still out there? hey how do you like the sigma 12-24mm. am thinking of picking one up or maybe the Nikon 12-24mm

Michael Kanemoto   {K:22103} 7/25/2005
Tim:

The Sigma lens is great. My only fear is that the bubble lens on the front does not support a filter, so one of these days I may scratch the lens. I bought it because it is a true 35mm lens, so when there is a 35mm sensor I won't have to buy a bunch of new lenses.

I'm back. I took a week off bracketed by weekends. Here is the itenerary - you can see that I don't do the typical photography of "wait for the moment" - the photos are part of the vacation. About 3,000 miles.

I don't/can't post while on vacation - usually during the summer the hours are up at 5 - 6 AM and sleep at 10 - 11 PM. I only have time to backup the files from the day's shooting.
