Laurie,

This is excellent. I like your alternative approach with the dessaturation. Most people look to boost the saturation, but your approach is very eye catching.

Excellent composition Laurie!
Very beautiful floral and butterfly detail!
Best regards!
Roberto.

Love how you have desaturated, I was trying this yesterday with a moth shot that had an awful background - but it still didn't work well, this works beautifully great composition

I really like the composition, but for me, I think it's desaturated a little too much. Or maybe I'm just use to your usual photos with rich colors lol. Still a wonderful capture Laurie, nice work! =)

Such elegant and graceful creatures, excellent work!

Great shot!!! Wonderful capture, love the desaturated effect...., lovely remaining colors and excellent DOF and composition/crop.... well done!!!

Excellent shot Laurie. The desaturation has worked to perfection and helped remove any distracting backround colours. Given the black and white nature of the butterfly it was a good idea to desaturate I think as it brings the butterfly into greater prominence in the shot. Well done!

This has a beautiful delicateness to it, Laurie, something I think the desaturation adds to nicely! I like how a bit of the purple from the flower reflects off the butterfly's wings. You got some great shots at this place!
