About Tomintoul, one of the highest, (if not THE highest!), village in Britain ~ and this is a shot from the road from Cromdale, (where we were staying), to Tomintoul.

Thanks for looking!

Best regards to all,

Chris

Ah Tomintoul, famous for having the road blocked at the merest hint of snow.
Gorgeous shot Chris that makes it hard to believe they can have such hard conditions up there at times.

Danny Brannigan   {K:16234} 7/23/2005
good saturation and great landscape with a super sky.

Roger Williams   {K:82679} 7/23/2005
The sky and the line of distant hills are so important in this that I would have used a much narrower panoramic window and eliminated most of the empty foreground. Perhaps to just above the beige and white stones. That would give a line of greenery dipping into the lower RH corner, too. We're going to get wider pixel limits for panoramas, Al says. That would be the time to try it...

Dave Stacey   {K:115371} 7/24/2005
