Nicely done!
It does indeed give a good feel for the riverwalk.
One technical nit: it shows between the trees where you darkened the twilight sky.

Next time you're heading this way, drop me a line, dude!

Nice perspective, great reflection of lights in the river, and has a good postcard painting look.
Greatelement are all the people lining the other bank.

Sean, this image is such a nice representative of the riverwalk. I love that place, and this really captures the feeling of the lights, people, river, etc.

The framing pulls my eye all the way to the background, with everything sharp from front to back. The far side of the river forms a nice diagonal.

I like how this looks like you shot it at night (often requiring a longer shutter speed) but everything is evenly lit and sharp.

Nice job. Makes me want to visit San Antonio soon!

You have captured my memories and they are presented here. What a wonderful warm and welcoming night shot. Too bad there was not a dinner barge floating down the river in this shot. Surely do hope that you will brave the crowds and go back and take some daytime shots during a fiesta - so that you can capture the Mariachi bands and colorful costumes. Congrats on being selected Featured Donor. Jan

This looks like it were an oil painting, very good technique in capturing the warmth of the scene.

I think this captures the atmosphere of the riverwalk very well amd the panorama format was a good choice. When I was there they had floating restaurants on the river. One of those would have added even more interest... Makes me want to visit again!

Roger,

Thank your kinds works, and it is a nice surprise. I agree having a riverboat within the frame would have made it pop that much more!

Sean - I definitely got the impression that this is a fun place. The reflections on the water are really neat. -- Debby

Feels like a picture from France, it is beautiful, to me it takes the river-walk from reality to a dream. Congrats.

Beautiful, I remembered this place, it is wonderful to be there, you did justice to the
Riverwalk, congrats, Sean, well done, 7, goes to my favorites!

Sean,

An excellent image that captures the atmosphere wonderfully. This sort of image has great commercial potential.

I imagine that you have cropped down from an image captured using the widest setting of your lens. In this image the resultant loss of detail actually adds to the atmosphere makes it almost impressionistic. Wonderful!

Have you considered using two or three frames stitched together - the resulting detail can be absolutely staggering. ArcSoft's Panorama 3 is worth a try. I use it constantly but it did take a few weeks to learn how to work around its failings.

Regards.

Martin.

PS. You have rivers in Texas? The movies always show it as a desert! :-)
