| About |
Actually it's The Manor House gatehouse, The Manor House (now a pub and restaurant) being behind it. Parts of the Manor House hall go back to the 13th. Century and serious restoration work in the late 1950s saved it from demolition. The gatehouse is believed to date from the early 17th. Century.

Hi Len
This is a very lovely place in the UK and, wow it is NOT raining! :)
I llove old, good restored buildings. It's a very lovely picture, and it's not your fault, that there are cars standing around, a tribute to the time we live in ...
Kind regards
Urs

Many thanks, Urs. It just goes to show: even West Bromwich has something to offer...(Afraid that West Bromwich can be something of a 'standing joke' in England, but it's not so bad really - and, no, I don't actually live there!)
Keep in touch.
Len
