how tiny are the skyscrapers against that monster cloud.
very dramatic shot in frightening but beautiful colours.

Hi Todd,

man, this is awesome! and frightening as well. what a weird color! this looks unreal, surreal, not healthy... great capture!

best wishes,
Thilo

isn't it strange?!?! weatherman said the green is caused by hail which is supspended within the clouds. 60-70 mile per hour winds lasted about 10 minutes, other than that just some rain.

Mark Wlaz   {K:4558} 7/26/2005
Whoa! That's one impressive photo of one impressive storm cloud! Not only is the green and black wierd, but the section of golden sunset on the horizon which is still visible. Very nice work Todd!
Oh, and I really love the way you've captured and conveyed the scale.

Could be something from 'War of the Worlds'! Great capture.

Awesome capture. The color combo with the lower horizon's yellow and the clouds' freaky green is otherworldy!

Awesome shot! Love the menacing clouds, definately helps create the atmosphere. Excellent capture.

Mark Sherman   {K:15520} 8/16/2005
That is AMAZING ! I don't think I have seen anything ever like that. Menacing is to calm of a word for that.

Martin Tuomey   {K:689} 8/21/2005
Striking weather/ city image. I like it. You know it's good.

Hans MADARIAGA   {K:4341} 9/3/2005
Realmente excelente, esas nubes amenazadoras me evocan Mordor, en "El Seņor De Los Anillos".

Excelente Foto!
