beautiful angela... the only thing i would do before saving is just add a bit of contrast , just to make her 'pop' out a bit...... you've done really well... keep it up... they'll be chasing you down now... congrats....!

Love it - well done... finally my wait is over! You did a great job on this - love the B&W for the shot. Well done. Glad the lighting worked out for you.

Angela Freed   {K:10061} 7/25/2005
Thanks Cheryl! Yes, i 80% of the cases the lighting worked great. Had a couple of areas that it made all white things look purple but I'm hoping to be able to fix that.

Beautiful bridal portrait. Would look lovely with her bouquet in color. Love how you included the column in the bg, and how you offset her from it. Very creative composition, it works beautifully!

Thanks again Dale Ann. Yes, I was looking at someone else on here who had a black and white wedding shot with the flowers color. I love it.

Beautiful portrait, Ang....I really love it! Perfect pose, perfect setting, great light...all just great. With the greenery in the background and on the post, I bet this was really pretty in color. Would love to see it! Great job!

I just shot a wedding, you were lucky, the ceremony was outside (Well it looks to be). The ceremony that i shot was inside, in a dark gloomy room. I had to use my flash with a diffuser on it to get enough light for the photos. Even with the softbox on it, i didn't have all that much luck with the ceremony shots. Granted, i am most likely being overly picky about my shots, and i am sure they'll like them. The 'posed family shots' or whatever you want to tall them, after the ceremony went very well. Anyways, i think i'm gonna keep an eye on your portfolio, i like your work.

Angela Freed   {K:10061} 8/23/2005
Thanks so much Timothy. Yes, indoor weddings are the worst. I really don't like flash photography, either that or I'm just not good enough at it or don't have the right equipment. I also really don't like group shots, you know, of the grooms, of the bridesmaids, etc. I'm more into just the bride or the bride and groom. I'll have to go and see if you have any of your wedding shots in your portfolio. I just added you to my friends list so I could keep an eye on yours as well!

yah...i don't like flash much either. I have a good flash (metz mecablitz AF-1) it gives off really nice light, even if not shot through a softbox...it doesn't come close to natural light though. I guess i just need to fork out on a decent portrait lense. (a 30-110 f/2.8 or something like that. Major $$ though)

Angela Freed   {K:10061} 8/23/2005
Yeah, I'm not ready to fork out big money. I'm content with what I can do now. I do wish I had more of a zoom sometimes though.
Angela

Timothy Tanguay   {K:1682} 8/23/2005
that recent wedding i did, the ceremony was a bit of a stretch for me. my lens selection was not quite what i wanted. my big zoom lense (75-300 f4.5-5.6) was way too long for the venue, and my standard lense 25-55mm wasn't long enough. *sigh* oh well. it was just an awkward sized zoom i guess. I'll post a picture with and without flash, so you can see that the flash quality is good...just not as good as natural light. i need to wait a couple hours, cuz i've maxed out my upload limit today.

Angela Freed   {K:10061} 8/23/2005
I'll be watching for them!
Angela
