About ? The Full Buck Moon - July is normally the month when the new antlers of buck deer push out of their foreheads in coatings of velvety fur.
This was taken with 10x optical zoom and 4 x digital zoom with tripod. This is the actual color of the moon Friday night. My best to all.............John

I like the way you cropped it and framed it. makes it more interesting. I can see where from this kind of view people once thought it made out of cheese. Almost the color of Swiss cheese.

HI John,
Yes, I read about the Full Buck Moon.......and did I go out to see it? I forgot all about it. I'll have to check it out tonight, but I know it won't be the same. Also, right now, we have light clouds.........

Good job you did, it's just spectacular!!!!!
Lori :)

This is great John, are these new lenses you got for the camera? The frame and the shot are beautiful. Alison

I love this John, the colour is so warm and comforting...sounds odd...but thats how it feels... good placement in the picture and the presentation is wonderful...I love looking at the moon, there are so many different aspects to it...
my best :)

Wow John an excellent capture of the moon...very nice form and depth...I love the clarity and your composition, a favorite scene of mine is the moon light shimmering on the water at night..a scene we have, but they get away from me...this is lovely and very well presented...:):)linda

My lens 'on the front of the camera' to get a shot like this would have to be my telescope. Looks great, John.

Nicely done, John!
Surpsingly little pixellation bearing in kind the digital zooming.
Best regards, Chris

A beautiful moon! Thanks for explaining what a buck moon was, because I was going to ask! Love how you brought out the details on the moon. I almost thought for a second you took this through a telescope! Excellent shot, the framing is perfect too! :)
