About He sure looks angry.. but he really played powerful at that moment so i guess he wasnt that angry.. more focused to give out some power with his instrument!

Cropped and fixed levels.

1/1000 sec - F/2.8, Iso 200, 200mm

Honest comments are welcome!

I really like this Patrick, its almost abstract in a way with the blurred circle and the tube. You made a great choice with the b&w. Well done my friend~

Verena Rentrop   {K:14426} 7/25/2005
I know that the face could even look more different when playing a trumpet or a similiar instrument...
the DOF is very well chosen...my full focus switch all the time between his face and his trombone...

strong in b&w

Cheers,
Verena

Perhaps that angry look was directed at you for taking his photo :) you have really captured his expression.
Margaret
Glad the difference in the eyes showed up, I did overdo slightly as I thought it wouldn's show, agree with you, between the two would be just right.

Dramatic portrait. No complaints... It is a very strong image. I like the tight crop as it accentuates his serious expression, and it is like he is blowing right in our face. Antonia
