About A honey bee having a quick rest on a bougainvilla twig before moving on (my first thought was that it was doing a reality check on what the real thing actually looks like!). Taken in open shade with fill from the built-in flash. Contrast and brightness slightly adjusted. Nikor micro 105mm with +1 close-up filter.

Beautiful shot. Cute little "bugger". Almost want to pet it. It's really aware of you... Regards, Andree

Nice to see the results of your efforts Joggie. Very good. The ultra-close nature means that you have a DOF problem even at F/32. A very good photo - the DOF doesnt bother me, as it is expected.

Very nice results, Joggie. I find these things really hard to capture. They don't stay in the same place for very long, do they?
