About While washing some tomatoes at the weekend I noticed the water from the tap created a nice texture on the surface. So this eveing I got a tomato, stuck a fork in its underside and banged off a few test shots. Although this is'nt what I set out to create it turned out to be my favourite. This is the underside of the tomato and the water streaming off it. I used the on-camera flash to freeze the water. In PS I just cloned out some of the more stark hotspots and converted to B&W. I will try this again when I have more time.

Great shot and imagination in creating it. I see you've got a great flare for the unusual in your portfolio. Your effects create an interesting abstract.

Excellent work. Extra ordinary.

Fine work, Shane. I'd like to see the colour version - one would think the bright red of the tomato would lend it that bit of extra oomph. (Then again, after last Sunday, red might not be the most popular colour down Waterford way!)

Awesome capture! You seem to have frozen time. I love the b/w.
