Oh this is so sweet. Very beautiful and yes....I believe in magic.

I like it because it's stripped down to the basic elements of forms, as opposed to a lot of work that's over-embellished. I guess if you look at the Japanese sensibility when it comes to aesthetics, it's what I'm seeing.

why thank you, lady! ...glad to know there are some believers out there...reminds me of when i was a little girl pretending i was watching fairies by moonlight...

exactly why i chose B/W because of the forms and light...always a pleasure to read your feedback,Mark...Thanks!

Gayle-

This photograph is truly a little treasure for the human eye to glance at...for a moment it takes the viewer and places them into a land of a little magic and mystery...very nicely done.

My best wishes to your work and yourself,

Indy

Beautifully soft, Gayle, excellent shot. Nice job on the BW conversion. Goes right to my favorites.

Mark Julian   {K:35624} 7/26/2005
Nice job but not GLOOMY enough - hahaha. Actually it works really well and me too, I believe in magic (only problem is the magician is asleep, matbe even in a coma). So what's the deal on that fairy dust? (wink wink, I wouldn't tell) - LOL This shot has a real modern look to it. Have you seen the video for "Blue Orchid" by The White Sripes? This looks like a still from it. Very Nice, Mark

I do I do. It seems aquatic, really enchanting and, with Mark, I agree about its attractive simplicity. /h

I feel like I'm holding my breath, looking at this. Like I'm underwater? Whatever it is, it is different. Fairy dust ALWAYS does the strangest things to me.. ..Brad

"what's the deal on that fairy dust?"...Just Believe! ;> bahahahaha...i kinda go into a zen state when i play in paintshop,so to be honest i do not have a clue as i was only paying attention to contrast and B/W pts. and next thing i knew VOILA! magic fairy dust!...good thing i don't have Neat Image downloaded to clear noise,huh?!..LOL..BTW,what wid dat "modern look" you are so fond of using to describe images lately???...new fallen angel lingo?...buh bye, gayle

Angelo Villaschi   {K:49617} 7/27/2005
Beautiful dreamy results, Gayle. Nice bit of soft-focus, makes the light glow in this shot.

Kees and Carolyn    {K:15193} 7/28/2005
Beautiful and dreamy! I love the lighting and softness. It has a very 3D look to it, inviting you in to a magical world. It's the sparkles that give it that final, special touch for me. Romantic and magical!

.......Oh, did I......Did I say "Modern look" again? I meant ....I meant to say, "beautiful dreamy results"....lately my head's just been in a fog ("it's just that demon life / that's got me in it's SWAY" jagger / richards).......
