Judi Liosatos   {K:34029} 7/26/2005
I love the colours and the definition and angle of the foreground grass. The dark blurred object does concern me though. I would possibly either remove it or make it less conspicious.

Judi

Ameed El-Ghoul   {K:42188} 7/26/2005
Hmmm,
the main reason i kept it is, to suite the project, Silhouette and abstract, if totally removed, it will be silhouette only .. what do you think?

Judi Liosatos   {K:34029} 7/26/2005
Hehehehe...I think the title of the project has many people stumped. Look at the ones in my portfolio that got BIP for this project. Are they abstract????

Judi

Linda Bique   {K:74033} 7/27/2005
Ameed I love this kind of simplicity, the silhouette is gorgeous, well focused, and the colors are lovely, but if I were you I'd crop out the blurred area..It's nice, but I think it takes away from this gorgeous piece of grass you've so beautifully captured...it's stunning, so beautiful and delicate...love it..and thank you so much for your comments on my image....well done...:):)Linda

ps. I hope you don't mind my suggestion, it's just that I think that beautiful blade of grass deserves it's own special place...:):)

This is a very interesting shot. I wondered how it would look with the background object removed.

Jon

Ameed El-Ghoul   {K:42188} 7/29/2005
Thanks Jon for your kind comment, you are right, some other friend pointed out this point, i thought about correcting it, but i though this would be a waist of time as all my friends already saw it :(
Thanks my dear, cheers,

Saqib Zulfiqar   {K:2770} 8/14/2005
Great shot. Really like the concept, colors and DOF. Just wondering how the image would look if the blurred object on the left was cloned out. Maybe you already tried that and it looked better this way.
Visited your portfolio after quite a while, I'm happy that I did. :)

Ameed El-Ghoul   {K:42188} 8/14/2005
Hi Saqib,
Thanks buddy for your kind words, much appreciated,
To be honest with you, I intended to keep the out of focused tree to give the feeling of the strong DOF, but as you suggested as well as many other friends, I've tried cloning that area, but because of the degrade in colors, it kind of looked fake, so I kept it this way :)
Thanks once again for your kind words,
Kind regards,
