About Because parakeets are really fond of destroying indoor plants, we decided to use fodder plants instead. Our Sierra Parakeet couple is very happy with this decision :-)

Nice close up Chris, is this a pet or taken in a zoo?

Merci Javed,

it's a pet ... we have a couple of budgies and a couple of Aymara parakeets, a south american parakeet race, also known as sierra parakeets.

If you're interested, you can learn more about this phantastic birds here:

Hi Javed,

it's a pet ... we have a couple of aymara parakeets (also known as sierra parakeets) and a couple of budgies. BTW ... both races have the same size.

Greetings from Germany

Chris
