PS concept: The shot was made with a wild 35mm construction within a Holga. Thanks to Claude H. for the tipps!

Hi Thilo,
Why not make the next frame just a pyramid shaped pile of ruble?
Andre

Hi Thilo,
I like the film effect. looks like a cine film reel. the holga effect does really make the stones look like they are moving. but its important to look cool during your last moments!

You're trying too hard to look cool, Thilo :)

(Only joking!)

Good choices with the film format and camera. Works very well. Do you develop the films yourself?

Thilo Bayer   {K:50301} 7/28/2005
Hi Angelo,

no, at least not yet =)

price is 5 euros for the development, and this is kind of expensive.

Funny shot because the rocks do appear to be "rolling stones"!...your pose looks straight out of GQ mag.(Gentlemen's quarterly fashion for men mag)!...like your presentation and tone...good shot,Chrissie!...can you explain more about the 35mm combo with the Holga?...hugs,gayle

Maria Luisa Vial   {K:36017} 7/29/2005
Nice pose Thilo... You can be a great model too... :) Love the filmstrip look... and the rocks indeed look like rolling stones... Well composed and shot... Do I congratulate Chissie or you? or both?

Cheers,

MaLuisa

Hi MaLuisa,

I hand it over to Chrissie =)

Thilo Bayer   {K:50301} 7/30/2005
Hi Gayle,

the problem is to insert the film in a stable way =)

the 35mm roll is much smaller than the middle format 120. so chrissie invented some pieces to prevent the film from rumbling around. next problem is to rewind the film manually. well, there are a lot of problems ;-)

if you like we may email on this topic. thilo.bayer@computec.de
