About Two mothers with young children were on the bridge in the shrine gardens. I couldn't get a good natural grouping so settled for a photo of record. This is my new 20mm lens. The image looks a little "sleepy" to me. It's nice to have straight lines in a really wide-angle shot though, unlike with the fisheye.

There seems to have been potential for a good grouping here, with one mother+child walking away and one mother+child walking/turned towards you. Too bad the lady with the umbrella got in the way.

Yes, Matej, I was hovering around waiting for just that kind of grouping. Unfortunately the lady with the sunshade was apparently the granny, and kept getting in the way...

A colourful and enjoyable image of one of life's simple pleasures, Roger!
Best regards, Chris

The fact that it's unposed gives it a feeling of reality, of being there looking at the scene. Great colours.

An effective shot of this little bridge and garden, Roger. The family add yet more interest. It gives us westerners a flavour of everyday Japan, that we'd never get.

Colin
