strange stuff =) the absence of a white point gives the image a scary, polluted and strange look. maybe this is new york in july =)

I'm with Thilo here - get the impression of dust from exhaust fumes. The green patch right must tremble - waiting for exploitation!

The About gives it yet another dimension - a mode of transport vanished and replaced by what we see. Would be great if there was a visual sign in the image making that clear. But, as suggested above, seeing it as just a patch works too.
