About Ok, so I'm driving downtown, I pull off the freeway, and looking for gas I pull off on a side-street, and am greeted with this amazingly preserved 30's era filling station. The textures and tilework just takes my breath away. I'm really headed somewhere else, so I snap off a few quick pictures and drive away.

When I get home I realize how richly detailed this deterioration is, and I decide to go back and take more shots.
...only problem: I cannot locate it again. On half-dozen drives in the area of my recollection, I can NOT find this place. (story continues on next shot)...

I like this picture. At first your eye is drawn to the bright sign so you don't really notice the bird hiding in the corner ;)

Sir Paul, This sounds a tad like El Edwardo - hahaha. You are up EARLY (better pick up a twelver of some caffine charged Soda Pop for next week) So I'll go read what happened (sort of spooky) -kinda have butterflies in my stomach - LOL....
