About Took my young Daughter to a Carnival erected on an old airport run-way just as a Dark and Ominous Storm-Front began to move through...The Threatening Sky coupled with the Blinking Flourescent lights and unusual Aura triggered the Urgency to shoot the view before me...After shooting twelve shots or so, Heavy Rain and Lightning engulfed the makeshift Carnival, and I ran with my daughter clutched in my arms, to the relative safety of our vehicle...

Greg-

A little hidden humour always adds a bit to a photograph, you clearly have expressed that in this photograph...or perhaps I just have an odd sense of homour...all the same, interesting photo...

very nice timing, Greg
and you took it at great angle and composition. the colorful, light on the middle of moody landscape so fascinating
only a little note, with better scanner maybe the quality of picture will be better
good both you and daughter save from the storm :)

Hi Greg,

Wonderful mood to this shot. Cheesy little carnivals and ominous skies are 2 of my favorite subjects. I love the stories behind your photographs.

A technical question...how are you scanning your slides? I've got tons that I would love to scan, but the only lab in town that I would trust with them is very expensive...i'm just looking for a way to do it at home with decent quality...any advice?

Gregg
I really like this photograph, I am just about to engage again in my photographic adventures, I have been away for way too long!
I think that I will start my adventures in South Florida this September in Ft Myers and Key West!
Thanks for sharing
