Fabrice this is beautiful and very like the area Marie and I live. When the tide goes out where we are the action of the water leaves this type of ridging and patterning of the sand. The perspective of this shot is excellent and the cloud reflecting in the water just completes the image wonderfully.
My friend, I am however surprised! This is colour and not your favoured black and white! Irrespective, I do like this very much for the feeling of peace and tranquillity it gives.

Ahhaha Alastair, sometimes I prefer pictures in colors.. I tried this one in B&W but the result was very "poor" in comparison with the colored one. We are lucky to live in such place, isn't it?

When you walk early in the morning (or at the end of the day) at the beach which nobody visited yet, you can see and feel the virginity of this place. The stucture in the sand because of the water is beautiful and you made a perfect picture of it. Regards, Femke

Houlgate se trouve en Basse Normandie, dans le département du Calvados à coté de Deauville, Honfleur...
C'est effectivement un endroit très agréable pour venir s'y ressourcer..

The ripples are leading my eyes nicely into the scene, very good composition. I think you cropped some sky, good idea for more emphasis on the geometric qualities of the foreground. Nice add-on the small shell in the right corner ;-)
