About I was waitin' for my wave - to photograph. These surfers had lots of waves to choose from off the beach in Pacifica. The sky was overcast, but the ocean was beautiful and powerful.

Wonderful beauty of the ocean. I think I would try cropping to more of the dramatic white spray area. Please this is a lovely photo, but I'm not sure the surfers add anything to the main drama, which to me is the violent meeting between the irresistable force and the immovable object. Beautiful catch.

I wouldn't want to catch that wave against those rocks. Probably only one of the cool places this summer around in the Bay Area. Nice action capture.

That is a beautiful wave. I had a hard time seeing the people in the foreground. Have attached my version. Don.

A very dramatic shot, these guys must be crazy to be out there. The way you have caught the wave crashing on the rock is beautiful. Alison

What a beautiful shot of the ocean, can you imagine harvesting that power? WOW! I like it there, you have rocky beaches! I might increase the contrast a tad here to bring out the color of the water contrasting with the color of the sky! :)

You really captured the amazing power of the waves. I like the lightened version that Don did, as well.

Don, Thanks for taking the time to modify the image. I like your version - seems brighter to me. -- Debby
