Here's the color.

I think I like the colored version better. I love her eyes!

Sarah  Per Lee   {K:2477} 8/1/2005
I honestly like the sepia version better. Maybe, it's just me...but, when the tones and lighting are just right...I just love it! The color one below is great, but the lighting is a bit off...kinda too much yellow. What a sweet "doll" face indeed! Lovely capture Suz. Thanks for the comments on mine!

Cheryl Ogle   {K:24494} 8/1/2005
With a mug like that... OMG adorable shot!! Well done. This frame fill is perfect. Lovely work Susie.

Margaret Sturgess   {K:49403} 8/1/2005
Susie I like the colour one more, but it is a little on the yellow side. I have had a play, changed the skin tone and then brightened the eyes - see what you think

I love the sepia version better. The girl is such a darling.

And thanks for the comments on my uploads.

I like them both, they're beautiful and well crafted. The sepia has excellent tone and more alluringly entices me to study the empathic expression of the face. The color version provides different visual detail, like the gorgeous color of the eyes. I praise your composition also because its 'personal' closeness communicates her expression so charmingly well. Margaret's adjustment of the yellow is 'right on.' Great capture Susie! ...Gab

I think I like the color version, both are incredible though. You did a wonderful job on composing, great image Susie!

Hi Margaret!
Thanks for taking the time to play! I agree on the skin tones, but I think the eyes became a bit too bright. I really struggled with which one I preferred, but in the end the sepia won out. Guess it always comes down to personal preference!
Thanks again for your consideration of this photo.
Susie

Carolyn Wiesbrock   {K:14051} 8/2/2005
Ok, I guess I'm an oddball because I like the color version better. The only thing different I would do is lighten it a little, otherwise it's perfect. This is a treasure!

Very expressive and well executed..beautiful work!

Geza Farkas   {K:12412} 8/3/2005
Soft and beautiful. IMHO I'll be happy to see a little more space on the bottom of photo :-).

Cheryl Ogle   {K:24494} 8/5/2005
I didn't notice the color one - I think I like it better. I love the way her eye color matches the wall. Then the splash of softness from the ginham top. Wonderful shot.

Brenda Guiles   {K:6128} 8/5/2005
Most definately the sepia version here! An excellent in camera tight composition and crop, full of emotion! :)

David Hofmann   {K:23830} 8/5/2005
actually I prefer the color version here and I like what Margaret did with the colors.

Melisa Meyers   {K:9610} 8/8/2005
Absolutely precious! You have captured the eyes at the perfect angle. Beautiful comp.

Tim  Schumm   {K:27168} 8/10/2005
You have a impressive eye for the portrait. I like this one the best of this page of your Port. The reason is that the cropping is tight with only the most important aspects of the face included giving it a tension that makes for a very sophisticated and emotional photo
