Ah...the thrill of discovering PS fx...I remember it well!

Experiment! Go crazy! Try out everything, several times. Then, once the novelty wears off, step back and use it sparingly.

I did this with adobe photoshop in my digital photo class last week...sadly, I dont have it at home. but I have hp image zone, good enough.
