interesting perspectives with silhouettes against the sky, it would fit the current project too and could also be effective in BW I suppose

Very dramatic and effective statement. The strong colors are excellent--even if unexpected in a piece like this. Best wishes, --george

Fabulous work, Thilo! Such a classic study of freedom and lack thereof. I find the colorful highlights on the fence to be most effective. Also, an overwhelming array of geometric patterns that are like a playground....and contrast effectively with the subject matter. Great mind, Thilo! ...Brad

powerful work my friend... reminds me of my visit to Dachau concentration camp, with the sign bearing the words 'never again' in many different languages. powerful work indeed.

Thilo, The sky is so beautiful and the barbed wire is so wicked. A wonderful contrast. I think, like Antonio, it would work in B&W too, just like the first in the series. But, that would change the concept to all foreboding and no brightness on the other side of the wires. Andre

Touching picture, ingenious work with perspective. Maybe it works in B&W, too. But the rusty color has an effect, not sure that B&W works better here. Anyway, great shot. Congrats !

Unfortunately I think we will see history repeating itself, Thilo. I am very pessimistic about the state of the world. I think people in Western Europe and the US have forgotten about political debate and participation, and about the real meaning and cost of "freedom".

Hi Thilo, i just caught this one and it stuck in my mind! Tonight on Television are all the films about the Hiroshima Atom Bomb. I had to work on one of them at work :(
Anyway i think it's great that someone posts something like this to remind us all, and lets hope and pray that something like this NEVER does happen again.
Best wishes Neil
PS: I like the angle you've chosen :) BTW that is exactly what i liked about my sunflower photo :) Funny, what is ones persons wish is not someones elses cup of tea. Ich vergisse immer wieder diese Ausdrücke auf English :) Ich bin viel zu lange in der Schweiz gewesen :) Tschuss Neil

A very strong image Thilo... Love the angle in which you tooks... Great work on the sky, it looks so beautiful with all those lines and oposed to all those wires and rust... It is also a symbol of prison... In the fight for freedom were are beginning to live as prisioners... This picture gave heartache and sorrow... :( but I like it a lot...
Cheers,
Maluisa
