this is a shot froma bridge over a marvelous gorge in Nidderdale called "How Stean Gorge"
It's very close to the route we did on the last UF meet in Yorks, but it's pretty slippy and dangerous to carry cameras into prime photo spots, so thought with the possibility of Steve slipping and breaking his neck, we'd give it a miss.
It's about 30-50 feet deep and has some wonderful water carvings. The dark tree cover makes a tripod essential (sorry Steve) but also stops the rocks ever getting properly dry.
Very little PS work at all, just that Velvia thing that Alastair found.
Not abandonded commenting on your shots just got 1000 photos of my own to sift through from last week, a new job to contemplate, a mountain of washing and 2 very hungry cats.....
