hi PJ, yes i did that because the original raw shot was a bit dull, and i wish to take out the splendor of the sky wich was really marvellous that day.
And yes i noticed the line between sky and buildings, maybe it has appened after i used the perspective tool to correct the wide angle lens distorsion,..not sure,...but finally, who care? too lazy lately to correct it manually ;-)

Davvero un eccellente lavoro, Giorgio.
I colori sono suggestivi, la composizione corretta e l'about incisivo.
Mi permetto di notare un pò di stacco tra il cielo e la parte bassa del fotogramma, evidente soprattutto nel lato destro della foto sui contorni della torre più alta. Un pò di sfumino dovrebbe sistemare il tutto:-)
Nel complesso uno scatto magnifico.

I love your frame-filler shots from Tuscany...this one a bit different but equally as good if not better....the old houses looking almost deserted,the blue sky and the little red spot running through the deserted centre of the village. I am glad to see you are using the D70, the sharpness is optimal

...le tue immagini sembrano sempre più dei dipinti....per sola curiosità quale valore hai impostato sulla maschera di contrasto....immagino che tu abbia voluto far risaltare le nuvole...ti dico questo perche le tegole dei tetti a dx friggono un pochino.....bella soprattutto la luce e quel ragazzino in mezzo alla piazza...
